These masks are single use disposable and designed for medical use.  However, if you are using for personal non-medical use, our suggestion to reduce cost and waste is to wash the mask after each use in a soapy solution and allow to air dry.  For extra security, make a bleach solution using domestic bleach and dip the mask in for at least a minute, carefully rinse off the bleach under the tap and then allow to air dry.  This will help extend the life of the mask and reduce waste.  If you see visible signs of deterioration, dispose of the mask and use a fresh one.

Please note:  Continuous washing may adversely affect the masks performance and therefore may render the test standard inadmissable.
