ContaminEx Decontamination Wipes
Packed 50 wipes per pack. Each large heavy duty wipe is 24x24cm, 68gsm non- woven, Z-fold in a re-sealable foil based pouch.
In an easy-to-use wipe, ContaminEx is especially formulated for the removal of radioactive isotope particles & other surface contamination in Laboratory Clean Up, Decommissioning & Decontamination tasks and is suitable for use on all hard surfaces including aluminium and stainless steel.
- The re-sealable foil based pouches have a large opening and have been tried and tested for use with advanced robotic arms.

DS042 ContaminEx Wipes
ContaminEx Decontamination Wipes Directions for use:
- Pull the tab on the wipe pouch pack label to peel back the aperture and to reveal the wipes
- Use 1 wipe at a time
- Take care not to over use each wipe – finish wiping before they dry
- Dispose of when visibly dirty. Both sides of the wipe can be used
- Assay surface regularly to check that wipes are not being over used and spreading contamination
- Dispose of wipes as per decontamination procedure in place.
Note: Rinse-ability depends on material to be cleaned and surface conditions.
Health & Safety
- In normal non-mechanical use, always wear gloves, goggles and a mask.
- Use in a ventilated space.
