Prosan Bleach Tablets are a UK Produced “Actichlor” equivalent Tablet with the same Chlorine Donor (NaDCC / sodium dichloroisocyanurate / troclosene sodium) in an effervescent base.

TECHNICAL: When dissolved in water, the tablets produce Hypochlorous acid (HOCl or HClO). This is an acid that forms when chlorine dissolves in water, and itself partially dissociates, forming hypochlorite, ClO⁻. HClO and ClO⁻ are oxidizers, and the primary disinfection agents of chlorine solutions.
