 Aquatabs®
quickly make drinking water safe. They are also
suitable for small volume salad washing and
animal feed water.
Each tablet contains an effervescent
base to allow them to dissolve quickly in water.
1 tablet in 1 Litre of water gives a min. 100
parts per million available chlorine.
Emergency Water Purification Guidelines
(check local guidelines if unsure):
If water is thought to be contaminated:
1 tablet in 10 Litres of water – leave
for 10 minutes minimum. Check for chlorine smell
before drinking. If no chlorine smell, re-treat.
If water is known to be contaminated,
or is visibly contaminated or cryptosporidium
is known to be present: 2 tablets in
10 Litres of water – leave for 10-20 minutes
minimum. Check for chlorine smell before drinking.
If no chlorine smell, re-treat. DISINFECTION
OF SALADS, VEGETABLES, NON PEELABLE FRUIT.

Animal Drinking
Water: Usually 2-4ppm is recommended
depending on specie. 2ppm = 1 tablet in 50
L potable water.
4 ppm = 1 tablet in 25 L potable water.

dichloroisocyanurate (NaDCC). Strength: 10
parts per million available chlorine solution
per 10 Litres of water.
