Aquatabs 167mg Water Purification Tablets (NaDCC)
These water purification tablets provide a trusted and effective solution for producing safe drinking water in emergency, travel, outdoor and preparedness applications. Dosage*
- Low-Risk Areas (e.g. Europe): 1 tablet per 20-25 litres
- Medium-Risk Areas (e.g. Asia): 1 tablet per 10-12.5 litres or double the tablet dose
- High-Risk Areas (where Bilharzia or Giardia may be present**): 2 tablets per 10-12.5 litres
For General Water Purification:
- With dry hands, tear the strip to reveal 1 tablet
- Drop the tablet into the water and allow to dissolve
- **If the water is visibly contaminated or bilharzia or giardia is known to be present, strain the contamination through a suitable filter before dosing
- Once dissolved gently agitate the water to ensure even distribution
- Cover the container and leave for 30 minutes before drinking the treated water
